5 Key Spring trends for Men!
There are not a lot of men who like to experiment with different looks and would rather prefer to be in their comfort zone. But its good to try different things and try to get out of our comfort zone and be adventurous. So to all those men out there, it’s about time to show your trendy side and try one of these looks. Here’s a quick summary of what Spring 2015 has in store for you. Its full of traditional concepts but with bold colors and fun prints that is sure to update any guy’s wardrobe.
Stripes are becoming everyone’s favorite! Their versatility can take an outfit to another level. They can be worn casually or formally and yet still look classy. Do remember when purchasing, stripes can have a different effect on different body shapes. Vertical Stripes gives an illusion of length and height, whereas horizontal stripes can make you look wider. Keeping this in mind, when shopping stripes pair it with plain or neutral pieces.
Denim over Denim
Who doesn’t love denims? Don’t we all live in our denims? But the idea of double denim doesn’t really sound amusing to our men. It can be tricky to pair denim over denim but that’s all right. For example, try pairing a light denim shirt with dark denim jeans. Or pair a stripe shirt with dark jeans and top it off with a light denim jacket. I’ll be honest, this trend isn’t for everyone but hey, it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try.
Hint of Floral
I love seeing my men in floral shirts…it speaks contemporary but in a trendy way. If you’re not a fan of floral, I suggest you try on different types of floral prints to see your reaction. Start off by wearing a floral shirt with your favorite denim, chino or short. And if you love the look, start experimenting floral with other colors and patterns. Try to make the floral piece your focal point and dress it up with some neutrals to grab attention.
Vibrant, bright and attention grabbing is the color RED this Spring 2015. Red is a color that can be tricky to pair with your outfit. When you dress red, make sure your doing one Red piece and keep the other pieces neutral because you don’t want to look like a walking, talking Elmo. For example, grab a red shirt and pair it with black jeans or khakis. Or try a red short with a neutral shirt to balance the look.
When we think green and blue, we think of polo shirts with a big bright logo. But this season, green & blue is on everyone’s list to add to their wardrobe. It can be hard to pair these two colors together, but the best way to do it is to dress the colors with slate grays and white to bring out the balance and still look well put together.
